April 6th - The Start of Remote Learning Greetings to each of you! I hope you and yours continue to stay safe and healthy during the Covid 19 threat. These are such strange circumstances – I also hope you are coping. Who would have imagined so many of the adjustments we are going through?!?!
I'll keep things brief here because more information will be coming out tomorrow on my google classroom. Here is the class code to join: 5k3v466
If you need any help accessing it or have any questions be sure to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
What an unusual week we have had! This is definitely “uncharted territory” for our society and our country. My hope is that each of you and your loved ones are healthy and stay that way.
We were working on poems that would've been due Monday, March 16th, but since I also am requiring the first drafts I will be accepting them on the day we come back - March 30th. I also told any students that if they had their poems done by Friday I would give extra credit because I changed the due date. So if any students want to email me their poems, through google docs perhaps, by Monday, March 16th at 11:59 pm, I will accept them for extra credit.
For the days that we are missing before the break I am asking that all students complete the following:
Complete the Solos for Lessons One, Two, and Three of The Tell Tale Heart, Sub-Unit 2
Read for at least a total of one hour (the time can be split up into 20 min sessions) and write a half page summary of what you read
If there are any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to email me at email@example.com
